Delete your Vegochef account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Vegochef app (by Vegochef OÜ) and what happens to your data.
Option 1: in the app (fastest)
- Open Vegochef and sign in.
- Go to Profile → My account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Option 2: by email (if you no longer have the app)
Email info@vegochef.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Vegochef account". If you signed in with Apple and chose "Hide My Email", tell us roughly when you signed up so we can find your account. We may ask you to confirm it's you, and we delete the account within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account: name, email address and sign-in details
- Your profile, diet and food preferences, targets and body details (weight, height, age, sex, activity, goal)
- Your meal plans, favourite and custom recipes, photos you uploaded, snacks, supplements and reminder settings
- Your subscription record at our subscription provider (RevenueCat) and any pending trial reminder email
Backups and logs that still contain this data expire within a further 30 days.
What we keep
- Purchase and invoice records, as long as Estonian accounting law requires (currently 7 years).
- Support emails you sent us, for up to 2 years after the issue is closed.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions; otherwise the store keeps charging you.
