A weekly meal planner for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians
Stop asking "what's for dinner?" every evening. Plan breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the whole week from plant-based recipes, and let the plan repeat until you change it.

Three steps to a planned week
Pick your recipes
Browse plant-based recipes by category (breakfast, high-protein, quick) or save your favourites. Choose vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian and only see what fits.
Fill your week
Drop recipes into breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day and add snacks. The plan repeats every week until you change it, so planning is a one-time job.
Eat, tick, shop
Tick meals off on the Home screen as you eat them, and send the whole week to your grocery list in one tap.

Plant-based recipes, plus your own
Every recipe shows its full nutrient profile, not just calories. Add your family favourites with ingredients and amounts, and Vegochef calculates their vitamins, minerals and lipids for you.
- Search by name or category
- Favourites and high-protein picks
- Your own recipes with automatic nutrition
Set it up once, the way you cook
Your diet

Your servings
Cooking for one, two or a crowd? Set your usual number of servings, and change it for any recipe or snack.
Your units
Grams and millilitres, or cups and ounces. Vegochef shows amounts in the units you choose.
Need ideas for your first week?
Start from one of our free plans and recipe lists, then build your own week in the app.
- 7-day Mediterranean diet meal plan: vegetarian, with vegan swaps and a grocery list.
- 7-day pescatarian meal plan with a grocery list.
- Vegan meal prep for beginners: cook once, eat all week.
- High-protein vegan meals, breakfast ideas and dinner ideas.
Why use a meal planner?
- One decision a week, not three a day. Deciding what to eat every evening is tiring, and it's when takeaway wins. Plan once and the question is already answered.
- Balanced days, not lucky ones. Because every recipe comes with its nutrients, you see what a planned day gives you before you eat it, and can swap a meal if iron or protein looks low.
- Less food waste. A plan means you buy what you'll cook, and leftovers have a place: tonight's double portion is tomorrow's lunch.
- Easier shopping. Your week goes straight to an aisle-sorted grocery list, with amounts added up across recipes.
What a planned plant-based day can look like
Here's one vegan day built from Vegochef recipes. In the app, you'd see its calories, protein, carbs, fat and 29 vitamins, minerals and lipids against your own targets.
- Breakfast: chia pudding with raspberries, made the night before.
- Lunch: 10-minute lentil salad with avocado and cherry tomatoes.
- Dinner: chickpea curry with coconut, cooked double for tomorrow's lunch.
- Snack: a piece of fruit and a handful of nuts, or one of our high-protein snacks.
Built for plant-based eaters
Most meal planner apps are built for every diet, and plant-based eaters filter their way through. Vegochef starts from plants. It's made for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians, and for anyone who wants to eat more plant-based meals without guessing whether they're getting enough protein, iron, calcium or vitamin B12. Cooking for a family? Set your usual servings once, and every recipe and grocery list follows. Want more protein? Pick high-protein recipes, or start from our protein calculator.
Meal planner questions
Can I plan for vegetarians or pescatarians, not just vegans?
Yes. Choose your diet once and recipes are filtered to match: vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian.
Does the plan repeat every week?
Yes. Your weekly plan stays in place until you change it, so you can plan once and adjust a meal or two when you feel like it.
Can I add snacks?
Yes. Add routine snacks for every day or one-off snacks to a single day. They count toward your nutrients like any meal.
Can I use cups and ounces instead of grams?
Yes. Choose metric (grams, millilitres, kilograms) or imperial (cups, ounces, pounds) when you set up, and change it later in your profile.
Can I change how many people a recipe serves?
Yes. Set how many people you usually cook for, and change the servings of a recipe or snack when you need to. Amounts and nutrients follow.
Is Vegochef free?
You can try everything free for 7 days. After that, Vegochef is a monthly or annual subscription, with no ads.
Is Vegochef on Android?
Yes. Vegochef is on iPhone, iPad and Android. Get it on the App Store or Google Play.
